Setting the ball rolling to make the Cluster University Jammu functional , the Government today ordered appointment of Controller Examination .As per the orders issued by the Higher education department ,Prof Syed Zaheer Abbass Hashmi ,Rtd Principal Govt Degree College Bhaderwah ,who is a resident of Gath area of Doda has been appointed as Controller of Examination in Cluster University Jammu with immediate effect . After approval from Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti a formal order in this regard was issued today by Higher Education Department, J&K Government . The tenure of the Controller Examination of the Cluster University Jammu shall be for a period of one year from the date he assumes office.Senior Journalist from Bhaderwah Mohd Majid Malik hailed the decision of the state government and said Prof Hashmi appointment is a right step in right direction and he will bring revolutionary changes in the functioning of University . The Cluster University in Jammu will comprise GGM Science College, Government MAM College, SPMR College of Commerce, Government College for Women Gandhi Nagar and Government College of Education Canal Road.
